I was a president from 1953 to 1961 I was known for my speeches on economic philosophy which had a Deal program to move the government out of some areas. Then I changed my level of agency the Department of health and welfare. As a president I build a interstate and declared racial discrimination in October 1952. I had to read In How Free Is Free by Leon Litwack.

On September 1955 I was in Colorado on vacation and I had a serious heart attack. I was in the hostpital for a while. I had developed a ventricular aneurysm which led to a stroke. I also had a disease in my intestines called Crohn disease which led me in to surgery.

My skills help me move up in the military ranks. In WW2 after the japan attack I was moved up to general staff in Washington. I was in charge of Operation Division under General George C. Marshall. In 1943 I over saw the invasion of Sicily and Italian mainland. By being in both battles I witnessed the surrender of Italy to the allies. Moving up in ranks led to something important in WW2.
In 1943 i was supreme allied commander in Europe until May 1945. On June 1944 D Day the invasion of southern France lasted until May 8, 1945.
